Nitecore D4 Digicharger Review

Nitecore are famed for their battery chargers, and the D4 is another excellent example of the thought and expertise that goes into a Nitecore charger. The Nitecore D4 is a universal smart charger and is compatible with almost all cylindrical batteries, making it one of the most versatile battery chargers on the market. It has the ability to charge four batteries simultaneously and can be switched between slots to allow independent charging for each specific battery.

As with most Nitecore products the D4 is infused with intelligent design and functions. Its intelligent circuitry detects the battery type and status before setting its automatic charge. It selects the appropriate voltage and charge mode for you so there is no need for you to worry about which settings to select for each battery you want to charge. It will automatically stop charging when the battery is fully charged so there are no fears of over-charging your batteries. It also has an intelligent temperature monitoring system to prevent overheating. The amount of features that Nitecore have packed into the D4 make it just about the only battery charger you will ever need.

Compatibility

The Nitecore D4 is an amazingly versatile charger that is compatible with and intelligently identifies Li-ion (26650, 22650, 18650, 17670, 18490, 17500, 18350, 16340(RCR123), 14500, 10440), Ni-MH and Ni-Cd (AA, AAA, AAAA, C) rechargeable batteries. It is also compatible with LiFePO4 batteries, although these will require a manual selection.

The intelligent auto detect function makes this charger one of the easiest to use on the market. If you are looking for a battery charger with the maximum amount of versatility and the minimum amount of fuss then the Nitecore D4 is an excellent choice.
