There are so many tanks, and clearomizers, cartomizers, glassomizers and atomizers in the e cig world that it can be daunting when it comes to picking the right one for you e cigarette. Today we are looking at a nice little tank from Aspire called the Aspire Vivi Nova-S BDC.
Aspire vapourisers have always been popular and this latest addition is right up there with the Aspire ET-S BDC and the rest of the Aspire range. Here is a quick roundup of what you’re getting and then we’ll take a closer look.
Features:
- A Pyrex glass container inside a metal casing.
- E-Liquid Refillable – Coil Replaceable.
- Replaceable drip tip.
- Bottom Dual Coil atomizer.
- Capacity: just shy of 3ml.
- Resistance: Comes with a 1.8 Ohm coil in the package.
- Takes any 510 APV style battery.
- Easy to clean
What does it look like?
It’s called ‘glassomizer’ because it has a Pyrex glass tank inside a metal casing. The strong Pyrex is a great idea because you don’t need to worry about the tank breaking, and you can see your e liquid levels.
The metal casing looks great and comes in a choice of eight colours. They are: stainless (grey), black, light red, light pink, light blue, light green, gold and dark blue.
Bottom Dual Coil atomizer
Aspire are renowned for their amazing BDC Coils and of course they’ve included them in this classic tank. But it doesn’t stop there. These BDCs are an upgraded version with new technology which Aspire say has been developed to give a more saturated vape which gives you a more pure and therefore better flavour. This is achieved by 4 holes in the coils. The result is an awesome vaping experience and a full flavour.
Batteries
You can use any 510 threading batteries, but the size and style has been designed to take any 510 Variable Voltage style battery to get the most out of this tank.
Verdict
The Aspire Vivi Nova-S BDC is a great little tank. It has the great quality throughout that we’ve come to expect from Aspire. The coils burn just as well as a Nautilus. It doesn’t quite have the air control that Nautilus offers but heck, there is a huge price difference. The Aspired doesn’t blow through coils with a higher wattage. I’ve been using it for a while now and not had one problem with leaking or flooding.
I just have one tiny issue with the tank. It’s quite hard to see how much juice is in there. But that is just nit picking. Filling it is a breeze – just use a syringe and fill it to the top.
One last thing – the coil just goes on…and on. It isn’t unheard of for these coils to last for 3 weeks or more. So it really is a cost effective tank that packs a real punch for the price.
