Introducing the Joyetech Cubis Tank

Joyetch Cubis Tanks

There comes a time when you need a little bit more out of your e cigarette. If this time ever comes to you then the best place to start is by upgrading your tank. There are lots of tanks available, with one of the best being the Kanger Subtank Mini, but there are others that are cheaper, and can almost do as good a job (some would say better).

This is why today we’re introducing the new tank by Joyetech called, the Joyetech Cubis Tank.

The Cubis Tank is highly innovative and uses new fluid flow technology, which makes it physically impossible for an upright tank to leak. This means the air flow doesn't travel through the middle of the atomizer like on traditional tanks, but instead has a hidden airflow channel incorporated into the top of the tank that directs airflow to the coil.

The tank itself uses prebuilt coil heads and is very simple use. Not only is it leak-proof, but it also comes with a .5 sub ohm coil head, a 1 ohm coil head, and a 1.5 ohm Clapton coil head.

It’s an extremely smart tank that comes with a stainless steel body in two finishes, silver and black, and it’s a decent size holding up to 3.5ml of e liquid.

We were really impressed with the Cubis and how it works. It vapes exceptionally well at around 35-40w. It produces an excellent amount of cloud and carries through the flavour with a surprising amount of clarity. The air flow system allows you to adjust how much intake you prefer, and if you avoid over tightening the top you’ll get a nice even air flow.

As it’s a large tank it might be bigger than you’re used to, but at 60mm tall (including the drip tip) it’s actually a pretty decent size for this type of tank. It looks great too and is well made and solidly built.

New Innovations

There are some major innovations in the Joyetech Cubis, with the biggest being the design of the tank. The tank is completely sealed off at the bottom, which makes it effectively leak-proof. Then there’s the top part of the tank that unscrews with the chimney and coil head, making refilling as easy as you’ll ever get. Usually with these type of tanks you have to squeeze in the tip of your juice bottle and aim carefully otherwise you’ll end up with a spillage. With the Cubis though, once the top is removed you’ve got clear access to the tank so you can fill it like you were filling a cup of tea (or whisky). When you’ve finished adding your juice you simply screw the top back on, with the chimney and coil head attached, and you’re ready to start vaping.

Another great thing about this tank is you can completely detach all the parts down to their basic components. This is especially handy if you want to give the whole thing a thorough clean. If you’ve been vaping the same juice for a while and you’re switching to a new flavour, then it’s always a good idea to thoroughly clean your tank so you don’t have any remnants of your old juice hanging around.

All in all, we loved the Joyetech Cubis, and for the money (£24.99) it gives the Kanger Subtank Mini a really close run. Ultimately it depends on your personal preference, but both tanks are at the very highest end of the market and will dramatically improve your vaping experience. If you're in the market for a new tank then you couldn't go far wrong giving the Cubis a whirl.
